Platinum Resistance Thermometers (RTD's)
Platinum Resistance Thermometers offer the user a highly reliable, stable and accurate method of measuring temperature. Suitable for applications operating in the range -200°C to +650°C depending on the construction specified. We can assemble sensors suitable for use in most applications and we can advise you of any limitations.
All of our sensors comply with BS EN 60751:2008 and its international equivalents. We offer sensors as 2, 3 or 4 wire construction. Simplex, duplex, triplex or more sensing elements and in all standard tolerance bands Class B, Class A, 1/3 DIN, 1/5 DIN and 1/10 DIN. We stock various different detector types including Pt100, Pt500 and Pt1000 and many others are available as required.
Process Parameters manufacturers the majority of the probes that we sell to order and to help you with your selection have created a series of our most common designs but this is in no way the extent of our capabilities and we welcome enquiries for any shape, style or design of sensor.

Our PPL13 sensor is similar to our PPL1 sensor but its mineral insulated construction offers operating temperatures up to 600°C. The probe is also semi flexible allowing it to be formed on site to almost any shape. A mineral insulated construction is recommended for very long probes and also available as very small diameters.
