Optris Gmbh have released a new upgraded CS LT Infrared Temperature Sensor.
Replacing the old LT10, the new LT15 offer additional and improved features at the same price before. The measuring range is now -40 to +1030°C covering a much wider range of applications. The optics have also been improved to a ratio of 15:1 from 10:1 giving smaller sensing spot sizes. A new feature is the addition of an LED mounted in the sensor casing which gives the user useful information such aiming assistance, alarm condition and so on.

Process Parameters is pleased to announce that this year we are enrolling one of our staff members on an Apprenticeship scheme.
Nathan has already been with Process Parameters for one year and has just turned the ripe old age of 18. He has shown great promise and with our company growing we are seeking to develop his skills across the business over the next two years. Nathan will undertake an apprenticeship customised to our needs by The Employee Development Forum who have been most helpful in arranging this for us.

2010 - What a year!
Process Parameters has just completed a very successful year with record sales just part of a fantastic year. In addition to this we have trebled both the size of our premises and the size of our work force. Plus we have been successful in becoming UKAS accredited to ISO9001, designed and launched a new website (we hope you like it). We have also been appointed official UK distributor for Central and Southern areas for Optris Gmbh, the German manufacturer of high quality infrared temperature instrumentation. Phew!
We would like to thank all of our customers for their support during the past year and we look forward to building on this success in the coming year.

November 2010
On 18th November our quality manual, procedures and records were audited by ACS Registrars for compliance with ISO 9001:2008. We are pleased to announce that we passed the inspection and are now UKAS accredited to the standard.
We would like to thank Xpedite, our ISO consultants, for all their assistance with the refining and implementation of our quality systems and ensuring a smooth accreditation process.

Process Parameters has been appointed UK distributor for the high quality range of Infrared Temperature Sensors and Thermometers from Optris GmbH. This new range of products allows to us to offer non-contact temperature measurement for the first time and compliemtns our own range of contact sensors such as Thermocouples and Platinum Resistance Thermometers.
The range of products from Optris is broad and includes Hand Held Thermometers, Compact On-Line Sensors and Thermal Imaging Cameras.

Process Parameters have moved! We now occupy premises that are three times the size of our previous unit enabling to put into place long held ambitions to expand various asoects of our business. As time allows we expect to increase component stocks and put into place other ideas to enable us to expand our production capabilities and customer service.
Our location in Maidenhead gives us excellent road and rail links being close to M3,M4, M40 and M25 motorways plus the main railway line from Paddington to Wales and the West Country. We are also only 10 miles from Heathrow Airport.
We are in the same building as before and we invite you to come along and see for yourself our exciting plans for the future.

Process Parameters has released its Compact Temperature Transmitter range. The product is styled onpressure transmitter designs and is intended for process applications where traditional terminal head designs are too bulky or are considered to be unhygienic due to their complex shape and dirt traps.
Our Compact Temperature Transmitters have been designed as a direct replacement for probes with terminal heads and can be supplied with either direct PRT output or fitted with a 4-20mA output temperature transmitter pre-ranged to your requirements. Both are housing in a 316 stainless steel probe and housing which has a smooth machined surface ensuring it is easily kept clean during use.
We have also been able to incorporate a wide range of connection types including BSP threads but can also accomodate sanitary type connections such as Tri-Clamp, RJT and IDF making them ideal for brewing, dairy and pharmaceutical applications. We also have a choice of electrical connection including right angled Hirschmann plug and socket and also M12 type connection which are becoming more popular. We also intend to develop an IP69K version for use in high pressure washdown applications.
