Compact Temperature Transmitters

Our PPL20 series of Compact Temperature Transmitters have been designed to give the customer a new convenient way of temperature measurement in almost any application.

Rather than a traditional terminal head type design, we use an all welded 316 stainless steel housing which incorporates the probe stem, process connection and transmitter housing all in one. The design carefully considers applications such as food, dairy and brewing where there is an obvious need to avoid dirt traps and allow hosing down. Various process connections are available including all standard hygienic and sanitary types.

A range of electrical connections are available with ratings of IP65 or better and we have in development an IP69K version for high pressure wash down applications.

PPL20-TX Compact Temperature Transmitter - Plain Stem

Our PPL20-TX is the simplest version within the range and has a plain sensor stem of diameter and length to suit your needs. Ideal for installation with either a compression fitting or our PPL50 pocket.

PPL21-TX Compact Temperature Transmitter - Threaded Process Connection

Our PPL21 has a fixed male process connection allowing quick and easy installation into your process. The stem diameter and length can be manufactured to your application requirements.

PPL22-TX Compact Temperature Transmitter - Process Connection plus Cooling Neck

Our PPL22 adds a cooling neck to the design which allows the sensor to operate at higher temperatures up to 200°C whilst protecting the electronics from too high an ambient temperature.

PPL23-TX Compact Temperature Transmitter - Hygienic Process Connection

Our PPL23 temperature transmitter has the most demanding of applications in mind and utilises any current standard hygienic connection of your choice. Stem diameters and length are manufacture to your exact requirements and the cooling neck and internal construction ensure that the sensor can operate to temperature of 200°C.
